Joy Vale was founded by Laurie Bacigalupi, whose passion for design began with a lifelong appreciation for homes with character and the stories they hold. Inspired by her grandmother's love of vintage furnishings and meaningful pieces, Laurie developed a design philosophy centered on blending old with new — preserving character while creating spaces that support modern living.

After more than fifteen years in luxury retail, serving discerning clients and leading teams for some of the world's most respected brands, Laurie chose to pursue her passion for interior architecture and design. As a licensed New York real estate professional, she also brings a broader perspective to every project, understanding not only how a space should look and function, but also how thoughtful design can enhance a home's value, marketability, and longevity.
